Meet our Family
We are the Arrington Family and we have been growing apples in Haywood County for five generations under the name Pinnacle Mountain Orchards. The Arrington’s farmed in Waynesville alongside many other family-owned orchards, including Mr. Richard Barber who started Barber Orchards back in 1910. In 1993 Benny and Jane purchased Barber Orchards Fruit Stand to add to our family’s farm.
Benny and his father, Cecil Arrington ran the orchard together until Cecil’s death. In 2001, Stephen joined the family business after he graduated and now, he and Benny run the orchard together as the 4th and 5th generation farmers. While Jane manages our store and does the bookkeeping for the farm.
Benny and Jane also have a daughter, Elizabeth Hooper. She is a nurse specializing in women’s health care. She has one son, Kipp.
Stephen is married to Jennifer Arrington, owner of Pinnacle Farms’ Cut Flowers and they have three children, Sadie, Levi, and Ava.
We are very proud to provide quality fruit and produce for our customers and we look forward to continuing this tradition for generations to come!
